Applications for places at Ark Walworth will be made in accordance with Southwark Council's co-ordinated admission arrangements.

Applications can be submitted through the Southwark Council website, using the link below.

Applications to start school in September 2024 needed to be submitted by the 31st of October 2023.

Parents are then notified by Southwark Council on the 1st of March 2024 if their application is successful.

ADMISSIONS OVER PAN - ACADEMIC YEAR 2023/24
Ark Walworth Academy is pleased to announce we have capacity to admit an additional 30 students to the Year 7 roll in the academic year 2023/24. The Local Governing Body and the Ark network support the school in its endeavours to meet the demands of the local populace and the school will therefore admit above its Published Admissions Number (PAN) a total of 210 students. 

Current Over-subscription Criteria for entry to Walworth Academy

• Priority is given to students with statements of special educational needs. The remaining places are then offered in the following order of priority:
• Looked After Children and all previously Looked After Children;
• Children of staff at the school where there is a demonstrable skill shortage;
• Children who have a sibling who already attends the school and who will continue to do so on the date of admission (for this purpose “sibling” means a whole, half or step-brother or step-sister or an adopted child resident at the same address);
• Other children of staff at the school where there is no demonstrable skills shortage;
• Children who live closest to the school using a straight line distance from the main entrance of the academy to the main entrance to the child’s home.
