Fantastic achievements for Walworth Students!  

Following a hugely challenging experience throughout their recent schooling, we are delighted to announce fantastic destinations and great results from our students at Key Stage 5.

Some of the individual successes include Karis Akinkunle, who achieved a portfolio of A*, A, A. Karis is delighted to be in consideration for a place at Cambridge University, but is equally thrilled with the offer she holds from UCL.  Valery Jingwa achieved two Distinction* and one Distinction for his Business Btec course and is off to study Accounting and Finance at the university of Brighton. Vincent Cao achieved the very top marks possible for his IT practitioner course with an unassailable three distinction stars! His next step is to the University of Nottingham to study Computer Science. Meri Korca is also going off to study Computer Science with her three A grades at A level, and Beatriz Gomez Marquez is taking up a place reading Archeological and Forensic Science at the University of Bournemouth following her success on the Applied Science course. A number of our students are also going off to apprenticeships, wit Cleopatra Idemudia even taking a video interview with Amazon during the results day process! 

It has also been a fantastic year for the school team with the Psychology class coming in at an astonishing 40% A*/A and 80% A*-B. Another notable success was the 86% A*-B achieved by History A level.  Some great outcomes were also seen in the science A level and BTECs, from which many candidates have chosen scientific pathways ranging from paediatric nursing to radiography and pharmacology.  

We’re hugely proud of every one of our students for their resilience and determination; we’re grateful to the staff community and to our families for their continued support for the young people.
