Here are some Frequently Asked Questions:
What happens next?
We are writing to all our successful applicants to ask them to confirm that they will be taking up the place. Please reply to this letter immediately. If you have not got our letter by 7th March, please telephone us on 020 7450 9570
Can I visit the academy?
Yes! Come to our Year 6 Welcome Open Morning on Thursday 17th March 9 am to 10.15 am. You will have a chance to meet the principal and ask any questions you have about starting at Walworth.
Is there an Induction Day?
Better than that, we are holding an Induction Half-Week, from Monday 4th July to Wednesday 6th July. You will get more details in due course.
So what happens in April, May and June?
Well, your child will be taking SATs tests, and also many primary schools organise some wonderful events in the last few weeks of a child’s primary school. Enjoy them!
But is there anything for my child at Walworth in those months?
Absolutely! We want to get to know your child, so as far as possible we will be visiting our new pupils in their primary schools, talking to them and to their teachers. But also, we want to meet you and your child for their own special admissions meeting. We will send you information about this later.
But I have another question!
Then please ring 020 7450 9570 and ask to speak to our Admissions Co-ordinator, Mr Richard Philpot.
