Ark Walworth Academy GCSE and A Level Results 2018
We could not be more proud of our students today!
5% achieved grade 9 in English, which is above the national expectation of 3%. 59% passed the English Baccalaureate which is our best result ever. This truly demonstrates the potential of our determined students.
4% of our students achieved 8 to 9 grades in Maths and 9% achieved 8 to 9 in English. We achieved 59 8/9 grades overall, which is equivalent to the old A/A* grades.
We are very pleased with these results and they represent the hard work of students and teachers, and the continuing support of our parents. Whilst pleased, we are by no means complacent; we are aiming for higher and look to improve every year.
A level and BTEC Results
The progress and value we add to our students at the end of year 13 has met the national average and is well placed in the Ark network.
54% of our A Level and equivalent results are A* - B as well as 100% of our BTECs were Merit or higher. 82% of our A Level and equivalent results are A* - C.
100% of Sociology and 75% of English Literature students achieved a B grade or above!
Our BTEC level 3 students received more fantastic results. 100% received Triple Distinctions. Business Studies achieved 100% Merit or higher, with 92% achieving at least one distinction. 6 out of 9 of the Science students achieved DDD or DDM.
